Platform Engineer III - Dataiku

Job Summary

We are seeking a Platform Engineer III – Dataiku to lead the architecture, governance, security, and enterprise integration of the Dataiku DSS platform. This role focuses on transforming Dataiku into a secure, production-grade enterprise platform integrated with Snowflake, DBT, AWS, Python, and SQL.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Dataiku Platform Engineer or Architect with experience building platform governance, automation, deployment standards, and enterprise integrations rather than only developing Dataiku workflows or data science models.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Dataiku DSS engineering, administration, or architecture

• Advanced Python development

• Advanced SQL and relational database experience

• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills

• Experience developing Dataiku plugins, custom recipes, scenarios, and API automation

• Experience implementing platform governance and production standards

• Understanding of:

• Architect enterprise Dataiku platform standards

• Build reusable templates, libraries, and secure project patterns

• Establish production-readiness controls

• Implement governance and deployment standards

Governance & Automation

• Develop custom Dataiku plugins and Python automation

• Build automated data-quality validation

• Prevent non-compliant deployments

• Maintain audit trails and deployment approvals

Secure Platform Architecture

• Implement secure data handling practices

• Integrate encryption and tokenization

• Manage secrets securely

• Apply least-privilege access controls

Deployment & Release Management

• Design Design-to-Production deployment architecture

• Manage project bundles and deployment automation
