REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• STEMI evaluation and intervention • Inpatient interventional cardiology consults • Emergency cardiac intervention and management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Arizona Medical License required (IMLC accepted)• Board: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology • DEA: Active DEA required • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Cardiology experience • Other Qualifications: Experience using Cerner EMR and proficiency in STEMI management

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for inpatient interventional cardiology services. • Evaluate and manage incoming STEMI patients requiring urgent intervention. • Perform inpatient cardiology consultations and rounding. • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and multidisciplinary hospital teams to coordinate patient care. • Document all patient encounters accurately in the Cerner electronic medical record system.
