Inside / Outside Sales Representative

Full-Time | Base Pay + Performance Incentive Opportunity

Scale Warehouse and More is looking for a motivated, dependable, and outgoing Inside / Outside Sales Representative to help grow our business and develop long-term customer relationships.

This can be a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to learn, take on responsibility, and grow with a small company. Prior sales experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who is comfortable talking to people, following up, learning technical products, and putting in consistent effort.

This is not a highly scripted sales job, and it is not a position where you simply wait for leads to come to you. You will spend time responding to incoming opportunities, following up on quotes, prospecting for new customers, and occasionally visiting customers in person.

We are a small, growing company, which means the right person will have the opportunity to make a real impact and learn multiple areas of the business.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to inbound sales leads, quote requests, website inquiries, and customer calls
• Follow up consistently on open quotes and sales opportunities
• Prospect for new customers through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and local outreach
• Build relationships with manufacturers, industrial companies, warehouses, laboratories, food processors, scale companies, and other commercial customers
• Visit local and regional customers when an in-person meeting would help move an opportunity forward
• Learn our products and help customers identify the right weighing equipment or related solution
• Prepare quotes and coordinate pricing, availability, freight, and lead times
• Maintain accurate customer, lead, deal, and follow-up information in Zoho CRM
• Stay on top of open opportunities and make sure good leads are not forgotten
• Work with vendors and internal team members to answer product, pricing, technical, and delivery questions
• Help grow existing accounts while developing new business
• Follow up after sales to help build repeat business and identify additional opportunities
• Assist with broader sales and marketing efforts when needed

The right candidate will be:

• Organized and able to keep track of multiple opportunities
• Willing to ask for the business and move a sale toward a decision
• Able to learn technical products and explain them in a straightforward way
• Reliable with follow-up and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently once trained
• Willing to prospect instead of relying entirely on incoming leads
• Comfortable working in a small-business environment where priorities can change
• Comfortable using email, CRM software, spreadsheets, and web-based systems

If you prefer to wait for leads, avoid cold outreach, or need every day to be highly structured, this probably will not be the right position for you.

Experience That Would Be Helpful. Experience in any of the following is helpful, but not required:

Experience selling scales or weighing equipment is not required . We can teach the products.

You do not need to know everything on day one. We expect a learning curve and will provide training and support.

Work Environment

This position is based at our office in Easton, Pennsylvania and will include a combination of inside sales and occasional local or regional customer visits.

Most of the job will involve phone, email, CRM, quoting, customer follow-up, and prospecting. We also want someone who is willing to get out of the office and meet customers when it makes sense.

Because we are a small company, everyone occasionally helps outside of their normal job description. We value people who are flexible, practical, and willing to help the team get things done.

Compensation

Compensation will include a competitive base wage or salary plus performance-based incentive opportunity , depending on experience.
