Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to schools near Baltimore, MD, with exciting long-term substitute opportunities across multiple elementary campuses. This contract role allows you to make a meaningful impact supporting students’ communication needs in vibrant, inclusive educational environments.

Opportunities Available:

• Waverly Elementary School: General education setting with some regional programs. AAC experience is a plus. Immediate start; assignment may extend through the end of the school year.
• Veterans Elementary School: Focus on early childhood caseload. Starts mid-November, running through mid-February, with possible extension.
• Deep Run Elementary School: Serve primarily K–5 students. Mid-November to mid-February, with optional extension.
• Atholton Elementary / Phelps Luck Elementary: Split position across two elementary schools. Through mid-February, five days per week.

Position Details:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on-site.
• Shape caseloads based on your preference and expertise when you apply.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Maryland SLP license required.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply.
• Prior school-based experience highly beneficial.
• Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is advantageous, especially for Waverly Elementary.
• Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide direct SLP services aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
