Embark on a rewarding assignment as a long-term substitute Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging school environment near Baltimore, MD. Multiple elementary campuses are seeking enthusiastic, student-centered professionals to provide quality speech and language services through mid-February, with the possibility of extension through the end of the academic year. Your skills will support early childhood to fifth-grade students, with opportunities to work in General Education settings, regional programs, and with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), where preferred.

Openings include:

• Waverly Elementary: Gen Ed support and AAC experience a plus.
• Veterans Elementary: Focus on early childhood caseloads.
• Deep Run Elementary: K–5 caseload, flexible extension potential.
• Atholton/Phelps Luck Elementary: Split coverage, varied population.

What you'll bring:

• Maryland SLP license in good standing
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Experience or interest in AAC, early childhood, or elementary age populations
• Adaptability to work full-time, onsite for 37.5 hours per week

What you’ll accomplish:

• Deliver both direct and consultative speech/language therapy for assigned students
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and document progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain timely records and fulfill compliance requirements
• Provide services in a supportive, resource-rich educational environment
