Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Flightline Operations Manager to join 777/x Preflight and Delivery Operations Team on 2nd shift located in Everett, Washington. Position Responsibilities Manage, develop, and motivate employees using best practices and regular employee feedback. Ensure air vehicles are completed and certified for airworthiness by overseeing final paint installation, modification, repair, and delivery preparation. Interface with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and secure customer acceptance. Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and achieve operational goals for quality, on-time delivery, and cost control. Secure resources for projects and processes, provide technical oversight of suppliers, and lead continuous process improvements. Oversee and approve technical approaches, process changes, and adoption of lean principles. Promote a culture of safety, quality, continuous improvement, and teamwork; influence the team to demonstrate Boeing Values and Behaviors. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience) 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or equivalent military experience Must have a FAA certification/license Willingness to work any shift based on the needs of the operation Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course Exploring Leadership. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) 3+ years of flight line operations experience & functional test knowledge 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal or informal role 3+ years of experience with any of the following: avionics, troubleshooting capabilities, functional test knowledge, release, ticket experience, manufacturing, and/or structures 3+ years of proficiency using CMES (or similar industry software) 5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry Bachelor's degree or higher Conflict of Interest Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Shift This role is primarily second shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.
