Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, concerns, and goals, utilizing tools such as structured interviews and standardized assessments.
• Provide empathetic one-on-one counseling sessions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or client-centered therapy to address mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress.
• Facilitate couples and family therapy sessions to navigate relationship dynamics, improve communication skills, and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that encompass measurable objectives and interventions tailored to clients’ unique circumstances, actively involving clients in their care process.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support strategies to clients facing urgent mental health situations, ensuring safety and access to resources.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, adaptive coping strategies, and community resources, empowering them to engage in their wellness journey.
• Maintain comprehensive and secure client records including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measurements, in strict adherence to ethical and legal standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant ethical guidelines and legal requirements regarding counseling practice, emphasizing client confidentiality and informed consent throughout.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with our organization, you will work with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents facing school-related anxiety to adults navigating life transitions and families dealing with relational challenges. Your expertise will guide clients from various backgrounds in overcoming obstacles and achieving their mental health goals, making a significant impact in their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited academic institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Demonstrated clinical experience with a proven track record of delivering effective counseling services.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster therapeutic alliances with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications. We operate on a fee-for-service model, ensuring guaranteed rates are paid ahead of collections, so you never have to wait for reimbursement. Additional bonuses are also available based on performance.
