Work Environment\n

As a remote outpatient therapist, you will work closely with clients via telehealth platforms, benefiting from flexibility while still being part of a supportive team. The standard work schedule runs from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing you to engage with clients effectively while enjoying personal time outside of work. Our online infrastructure is equipped with state-of-the-art tools to facilitate seamless communication and care delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess clients through comprehensive evaluations to determine the severity and characteristics of mood disorders and relationship issues.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the clients' therapy goals while employing evidence-based treatment methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Engage actively with clients and their families, providing education on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring client confidentiality.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, case consultations, and team meetings to continuously enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients and contribute to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients facing diverse mental health challenges, with a specific focus on divorce and relationship counseling. Our approach is tailored to address the unique needs of families and individuals, promoting healing and resilience through structured yet empathetic therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and active California state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n
