Looking for Night Shift Accessioner

A diagnostic laboratory is looking for a full time specimen accessioner in Linden NJ

Responsibilities:

Accessions; reviews Order Entry orders and requisitions, verifies accuracy of corresponding specimens, and enters required data into computer as detailed in the laboratory's standard operating procedures. Prepares specimens for testing or sending out to another laboratory for testing. This includes reviewing appropriateness of requests, accessioning, sample preparation, and archiving for specimens sent to another laboratory for testing.

Requirements:

Accessioning experience 2 years

Bachelor's Degree highly preferred.

Major: Clinical Laboratory Science preferred.

2 years Clinical Laboratory terminology.

Ability to work as part of the team and independently when required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
