Material Handler / Hi-Lo Operator

Pay Rate: $18.50

Position Type: Full-Time | Direct Opening

Available Shifts:

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Entech Staffing Solutions is looking to find reliable, safety-minded Material Handlers. In this crucial role, you will serve as the backbone of the plant floor—keeping production moving efficiently, managing materials, and operating hi-lo equipment in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Keep Production Moving: Supply manufacturing presses with raw plastic materials, components, totes, and skids to prevent downtime.

• Operate Equipment: Safely operate hi-lo forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, unload, wrap, and stage materials and finished goods.

• Manage Raw Materials: Organize the Central Load Room and prepare precise plastic colors and resins for upcoming production runs.

• Track Inventory: Utilize RF scanners and internal software to verify Bills of Materials (BOM), print master labels, and enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards.

• Support Press Line Changes: Clear old stock, packaging, and equipment from production lines during product changeovers.

• Maintain Safety Standards: Keep aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards to foster a safe working environment.

• Experience: Previous hi-lo / forklift experience and familiarity with RF scanners.

• Technical Aptitude: Basic computer literacy, solid math skills, and understanding of FIFO inventory rules.

• Mindset: Strong multi-tasker, positive attitude, and a focus on workplace safety.

• Physical Capability: Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods and routinely lifting up to 25 lbs.
