HEDIS Abstractor - Nurse

Licensed nurse required: RN, LPN, LVN, or equivalent licensed practical nurse credential from an accredited school of nursing. Requires a licensed nurse; RN, LPN, LVN, or licensed professional graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Candidates must have computer skills and the ability to navigate CPT4 codes and ICD9/ICD10 diagnosis codes based on HEDIS Technical Specifications. Candidates must understand codes for services based on diagnosis and procedure. Strong research and detail orientation with the ability to find claim-specific data for a given measure within a specified period. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred: basic Excel skills and the ability to type 30-40 WPM. Prior HEDIS experience is a plus.
