Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) for the 2026-2027 school year! This role supports a unique high school program dedicated to students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The Compass High Program at Ludlow High School fosters an environment where adolescents develop the communication and life skills they need for greater independence.

This assignment spans from late August 2026 to late June 2027, with an estimated schedule of 32.5 hours per week. You'll primarily work in a specialized classroom setting in Ludlow, providing individualized and group support, in collaboration with educators and related service professionals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Meets all current state licensure or credentialing standards for SLPA/SLP-CF roles
• Robust experience working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices required
• Prior experience in a school setting, especially supporting high school students with ASD or significant learning differences, strongly preferred
• Collaborative, flexible, and proactive approach to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language services to high school students as outlined in IEPs
• Contribute to the development of individualized therapy plans, progress monitoring, and data collection
• Implement AAC interventions, provide device training and support for students and staff
• Communicate progress and strategies with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Promote a supportive, inclusive learning environment
