Winthrop Position Title - Academic Success Center Office Assistant FWS Fall 2026

Job Purpose - Academic Success Center (ASC) Office Assistants provide support to the staff of the ASC, as well as provide office coverage for the Center on evenings and weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities - 1) Greet Center visitors 2) Answer phones 3) Help clients with checking in for appointments 4) Assist with Center projects and tasks such as filing, making copies, data reporting, designing bulletin boards, etc. 5) Provide assistance with ASC events 6) Provide office coverage for evening and weekend hours

Qualifications - 1) Be in good academic standing with the university 2) Be knowledgeable about campus academic resources 3) Possess strong customer service skills 4) Strong communicator verbally and in writing

Preferred Skills - 1) Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) 2) Team player 3) Highly organized 4) Able to work well with a variety of personalities

Pay Rate - 8/hour
