Job Description

Will be scheduled 5 weekend's out of a 6 week schedule. For example a Saturday or Sunday shift. In a 6 week period team is required at least 9 night shift and 9 day. We do our best to ensure the nurses don’t flip flop in a week. Must have 2 years experience. First time travelers ok. Required certifications: BCLS, PALS. Must be able to float to NICU and PEDs. Patient Diagnoses: Respiratory Distress / Failure, DKA, Seizures, Pain Management. Special Procedures: Moderate Sedation, Drips, Arterial Lines, Central Lines / CVP.

A separation period of at least six months is required to return to this facility as a traveler. Modules: Modules are non-billable; 8 hours for new starts, and up to 175min annually and factored in NBO Modules are completed virtually on first day of contract, and vary by specialty Annual modules are required for: Non-TELE RN units - 75min., TELE RN & ICU RN - 115 min., and ED RN 175min Modules are recorded via transcripts
