Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through telehealth sessions, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and goals.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that outline specific therapeutic strategies, interventions, and goals tailored to each client’s circumstances.

• Provide ongoing psychotherapy, employing techniques and interventions drawn from a range of evidence-based practices to address a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Regularly monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring clients are receiving the support and guidance they require to achieve their desired outcomes.

• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Offer referrals and connect clients with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, when medication management or additional support is necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults experiencing various mental health challenges such as major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and eating disorders. Your work will focus on culturally responsive treatment, ensuring that every client feels understood and valued in their unique circumstances. By fostering an inclusive environment, you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys more effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated excellence in client care and therapeutic interventions.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and treatment methodologies, alongside proficiency in evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse clientele, ensuring effective therapeutic relationships.

• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, along with other computer applications necessary for maintaining session records.

• A commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries within therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
