Production Supervisor

We are seeking experienced Production Supervisors with a strong background in manufacturing to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive performance on the production floor. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Night shift 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily extrusion operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. Lead, coach, and develop production team members across shifts; conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Monitor extrusion processes (profiles, tubing, sheet, film, compounding, or pipe) and troubleshoot issues related to materials, tooling, or equipment. Partner with maintenance and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency. Implement and support Lean manufacturing initiatives, including waste reduction and process optimization. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate production reporting, including scrap rates, efficiency metrics, and labor utilization. Experience Requirements by Location: Binghamton, NY: Flexible; open to candidates with broad manufacturing experience Qualifications: 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven leadership ability with a track record of improving team performance and production output. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues in a manufacturing setting. Strong communication and organizational skills.
