Full time Neurologist opportunity focused on comprehensive neurological evaluation, diagnostic interpretation, treatment planning, and ongoing patient management.

Full time Neurologist opportunity with a dedicated electrodiagnostic focus. Candidates must demonstrate recent experience performing and interpreting EMG studies and the ability to personally perform at least 16 EMGs per day . Assignment to the Hodges or Dunn Avenue location will be confirmed during the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed consultations, including review of symptoms, medical history, medications, prior treatment, and relevant diagnostic findings.
• Perform comprehensive neurological examinations and develop appropriate differential diagnoses.
• Evaluate conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system.
• Assess complex presentations and determine when additional testing or specialty consultation is appropriate.
• Integrate examination findings and diagnostic results into clear clinical assessments.
• Evaluate how neurological conditions affect function, daily activities, and quality of life.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to patients, referring clinicians, and the care team.

Diagnostic Testing and Interpretation

• Order appropriate neurological diagnostic testing based on each patient’s clinical presentation.
• Review neuroimaging studies and related diagnostic reports.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures within your training, credentials, privileges, and assigned responsibilities.
• Explain the purpose and findings of diagnostic testing in language patients can understand.
• Document and communicate clinically significant results promptly.
• Coordinate additional evaluation when findings require further investigation.

Jacksonville Electrodiagnostic Requirements

Physicians considered for Jacksonville must demonstrate proficiency in electrodiagnostic medicine and the ability to personally perform at least 16 EMGs per day .

• Help patients and caregivers understand medications, diagnostic testing, supportive services, and ongoing monitoring.
