Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – General/Vascular Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – Gen/Vascular for a 9‑week travel assignment in New York, New York. Perform and analyze general and vascular sonography examinations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate imaging into patient care plans. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Work efficiently in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments while maintaining professionalism. Essential Skills & Physical Abilities Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication. Proficient reading and written English, ability to follow instructions; PC skills. Physical: stationary position, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend. Interpersonal: work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain positive attitude. Motor: fine manipulation, push/pull, assistance with procedures. Mental: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines, work with/without supervision, handle irregular schedules. Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program. Minimum one year of recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC). Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations. Preferred Qualifications Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS). Current ARRT certification in sonography. Other certifications or licenses relevant to the position.
