Job Title: Machine Operator IMMEDIATE HIRE & START

Location Totowa, NJ

Shift: Night Shift

Pay: $20 - $25 hour based on experience

The Machine Operator works in a food production facility to ensure products are packaged safely, efficiently, and meet quality standards. This role involves operating packaging equipment, monitoring production processes, troubleshooting issues, and following food safety guidelines.

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment and production systems.
• Ensure products meet quality and production specifications.
• Record and track production data using computer systems.
• Perform equipment startups, shutdowns, cleaning, and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
• Work with maintenance, quality, and production teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, HACCP, and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform labeling, packing, filling, and order preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Experience operating packaging or production equipment in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred).
• Ability to monitor processes and identify issues.
• Basic computer skills for recording production information.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Totowa, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
