Job Details Job ID: 5820232 Application Deadline: Jul 16, 2026 11:59 PM (Central Standard Time) Posted: Jul 07, 2026 5:00 AM (UTC) Starting Date: Immediately Job Description Reports To: Assistant Principal Duty Days: 197 Days Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Pay Grade: AS02 Qualifications: College hours, high school diploma or GED Proficient keyboarding, word processing, and file maintenance skills Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills School office experience preferred General office management Receptionist skills Excellent in spelling and grammar Primary Purpose: Provide clerical support to assistant principal(s) Major Duties and Responsibilities: Check SAC roll, attendance, assignments – typing and recording. Filing – setting up new files and keeping all files orderly and current. Assist with reports, monies, and fines. Assist with building inventories. Type all correspondence, forms, etc. required by assistant principal. Telephone – answer, take messages, transfer calls. Make appointments with parents, keep calendar up to date and keep assistant principal informed – general receptionist work. Assist in registration as needed. Assist students and teachers when required. Assist in receipt of grade scan sheets and proofing as needed. Equipment Used: Personal computer, calculator, typewriter, printer, copier, and fax machine. Working Conditions: Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Repetitive handmotions; prolonged use of computer.
