Responsibilities

• Assess residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing concerns to establish baseline function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with goals and measurable progress.
• Provide direct therapy and educate residents, family members, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and safer swallowing.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations and recommend further diagnostics or dietary adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, therapy services, physicians) to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Document progress notes, update treatment plans, and ensure timely completion of required documentation.

Requirements

• Active state license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Ability to work the scheduled shift: 08:00–16:30, five 8-hour days, with 35 guaranteed hours per week.
• Experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred.
• Willingness to participate in a 14-week travel assignment starting 06/29/2026.
