Marketing/Business Development Manager Sales Enablement | Minneapolis, MN | Hybrid — 3 days/week in office Overview The Marketing/Business Development Manager is an individual-contributor role responsible for bringing creative vision and design thinking to proposals, RFP responses, and pitch presentations for the region's business pursuits. This role partners closely with brokers and business line leaders to turn market and client intelligence into visually compelling, client-ready materials, with a focus on creative differentiation and storytelling at the point of sale rather than lead generation. Responsibilities Brings creative concepts and fresh visual ideas to customized proposals, RFP responses, and client/prospect presentations for new business pursuits and renewals Designs and produces pitch decks and presentation materials in InDesign that support creative differentiation and storytelling at the point of sale Partners with brokers and business line leads to gather content, shape win themes, and identify unique selling propositions for each pursuit Manages multiple concurrent proposals and pitches from kickoff through final delivery, coordinating timelines with brokers and internal stakeholders Conducts research on prospects, markets, and competitors to inform proposal content and positioning Ensures all materials are accurate, on-brand, and creatively distinct prior to client delivery Coordinates with design, production, and research resources as needed to complete deliverables Serves as a creative and proposal resource across tenant rep, industrial, agency, and retail business lines Builds and evolves proposal templates, layouts, and the team's content library with a fresh design perspective Supports post-pursuit debriefs by documenting feedback and identifying creative and process improvements Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field Minimum 5 years of related experience; commercial real estate or adjacent industry experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong creative and conceptual thinking, with the ability to bring fresh visual ideas to proposals and presentations Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Advanced InDesign skills required; proficient in the broader Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working directly with brokers and senior stakeholders Deep understanding of and commitment to client service Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail Strategic and design thinking with a business development mindset Comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate research, drafting, and proposal production Technologically savvy with the ability to learn and adopt new tools This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position: 95,000.00 – 110,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
