Wesley by the Bay | Ocean City, NJ | Full-Time

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. No weekends, no evenings. $21.01 to $23.63 per hour. Help older adults at Wesley by the Bay in Ocean City, NJ.

Who You'll Support

Wesley by the Bay is a senior apartment community run by United Methodist Communities. Residents live on their own, and you make sure they know about and can reach the health, home care, and community services that help them stay independent.

What You'll Do

• Meet with residents, and some older adults living nearby, to learn what they need and connect them with local services
• Check in often with residents who need extra support, especially after a hospital stay or rehab
• Help residents and families plan a move to more care when the time comes
• Keep an up-to-date guide to local resources and complete monthly, annual, and HUD reports
• Plan classes, social events, and spiritual and learning programs
• Write the resident newsletter and serve as the main contact for resident groups
• Work with the property manager to help residents meet their lease and HUD requirements

What You'll Need

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience serving older adults or people with disabilities, or in social services in a healthcare setting

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree

Before you start: a drug test, background check, and flu vaccine are required. Medical and religious exemptions to the flu vaccine may be requested.
