Program Specialist II

Providing dedicated support to patients and doctors, the full-time remote Program Specialist II will manage inquiries related to benefit coverage, payments, and reimbursements while collaborating with healthcare providers and patients to resolve issues. Key responsibilities: Deliver personalized support via phone and online, addressing insurance benefit inquiries and payment issues Assist with prior authorization processes and benefit verifications while maintaining accurate records of customer interactions Conduct comprehensive searches for alternate reimbursement resources and follow up on customer inquiries in a timely manner Required qualifications: High School Diploma with 4 years of experience or an Associate's Degree with 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Experience in customer service or call center environments is preferred Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
