PROGRAM SPECIALIST II

Program Specialist II

This full-time position will provide administrative support to the Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant team at the Program's Brunswick facility. The position will also provide assistance in maintaining the facility and associated vehicles, vessels and grounds, as well as support ongoing extension, research and outreach programs as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies - Professional administrative experience (e.g. managing invoices, keeping records, preparing reports, scheduling events, maintaining databases) High level of professionalism and ability to interact with various audiences Proficiency with Microsoft Office software Precise attention to detail and ability to follow procedures meticulously Must demonstrate excellent writing, public speaking, communication, inter-personal and organizational skills Represent Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant at community events and outreach programs

Physical Demands - Ability to lift 40lb, work in inclement weather conditions as well as an office setting. Occasional evening and weekend work and in-state travel.
