ANYTIME FITNESS CLUB MANAGER Full-Time | $35,000–$50,000 Base Salary + Sales Commissions Top Performers Can Earn $60,000–$70,000+ Reports to: District Manager LEAD A TEAM. GROW A BUSINESS. They take ownership of the club’s performance, lead a team, build relationships in the community, and create an experience that keeps members coming back. We’re looking for a high-energy, results-driven leader who enjoys sales, loves working with people, and takes pride in building a successful business. This is a hands-on role. You’ll spend your days talking with prospects, selling memberships and personal training, coaching members, developing your team, solving problems, and finding new ways to grow the club. COMPENSATION & EARNING POTENTIAL Base Salary: $35,000–$50,000, based on experience + sales commissions Club Managers earn commissions on both membership and personal training sales, giving you the opportunity to directly increase your earnings based on the business you generate. Our personal training commission structure is especially rewarding because commissions continue as payments are collected from the personal training clients you sell. That means the relationships and business you build today can createrecurring commission income over time. This structure rewards more than simply making the initial sale. It reinforces what matters most to us: putting members into the right program, delivering an exceptional experience, and keeping clients engaged and successful. Top-performing Club Managers can earn $60,000–$70,000+ annually through base salary and commissions. WHAT YOU’LL DO Drive Membership & Personal Training Sales Sales is a significant part of this position — and a significant part of your earning potential. You’ll connect with leads, learn what prospective members are trying to accomplish, overcome objections, conduct appointments and fitness consultations, and help people choose the right membership and personal training solution. You’ll also consistently follow up with leads by phone, text, and other channels. We use a relationship-first sales process designed to help people overcome the barriers keeping them from getting started. Because you earn commissions on membership and personal training sales — including ongoing commissions as payments are collected on qualifying personal training sales — building strong, lasting client relationships benefits both the member and you. Lead & Develop Your Team You’ll lead personal trainers and part-time staff, establish clear expectations, coach performance, and hold your team accountable. Great Club Managers don’t simply complete their own tasks — they make the people around them better. Coach & Engage Members Approximately one-third of this role may include leading pre-designed small-group workouts, motivating participants, modifying exercises for different ability levels, and ensuring safe exercise technique. Don’t have a personal training certification yet? For the right candidate, we provide tuition assistance toward NASM certification. Grow the Club in Your Community You’ll build relationships with local businesses, organizations, employers, and community leaders while helping execute local promotions, events, social media, and grassroots marketing. You’ll create a welcoming, motivating environment that makes members want to stay — and makes them comfortable recommending the club to their friends, family, and coworkers. Own Club Operations You’ll ensure the club is clean, safe, organized, well-stocked, and operating at a high standard every day. You’ll also hold your team accountable for cleanliness, safety procedures, operational checklists, and equipment issues. SCHEDULE EXPECTATIONS Club Managers workcompany-established staffed hours; this is not a position where managers set their own schedules. * Every other Saturday * Availability for scheduled early morning or evening responsibilities when required * Occasional appointments with prospective members outside regular staffed hours * Participation in club promotions, events, and community outreach Our members and prospects don’t all operate on a traditional 9–5 schedule, so our managers need to be willing to meet people when it matters. BEFORE YOU APPLY This is a sales leadership position in the fitness industry — not simply a job working at a gym. You’ll make outbound calls, consistently follow up with leads, invite prospects into the club, discuss pricing, overcome objections, recommend membership and personal training solutions, and ask for the sale. If that sounds uncomfortable or unappealing, this probably isn’t the right position for you. QUALIFICATIONS Required * 18 years of age or older * High school diploma or equivalent * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong self-motivation, organization, and follow-through * Comfort with sales, outbound prospecting, and performance goals * Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical responsibilities of working in a fitness environment * Personal training certification or willingness to obtain one Preferred * Previous sales experience * Bachelor’s or associate degree in exercise related field highly preferred * Leadership, supervisory, or management experience * Fitness, coaching, hospitality, retail, or customer-service leadership experience * Associate’s or bachelor’s degree Fitness industry experience is welcome, but it is not required.We would rather hire a great leader with strong people skills, drive, and sales aptitude and teach them our business.
