An established full-service hotel in a thriving South Florida market is seeking a Salaried Sales Manager to drive new business across the SMERF segment. This is a true hunter role designed for a salesperson who enjoys building relationships in the field, creating new opportunities, and spending more time selling than managing paperwork.

You'll join a collaborative sales team with experienced leadership, dedicated administrative support for detailing, and a compensation plan that rewards performance. What You Will Do

• Develop new business within the SMERF market, including schools, churches, youth sports, social organizations, reunions, and related group segments.
• Spend the majority of your week conducting in-person appointments, site visits, networking, and outside sales calls.
• Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship development.
• Represent the hotel throughout the local market and become a visible resource within the community.
• Qualify opportunities, negotiate group business, and close new accounts.
• Partner with the sales support team, allowing you to remain focused on selling while administrative detailing is handled internally.
• Work closely with hotel leadership to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
• Participate in required Marriott sales training and platform development.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous hotel sales experience required; full-service experience preferred.
• Direct SMERF sales experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with CI/TY business is a plus.
• Proven ability to prospect for new business rather than relying primarily on inbound leads.
• Comfortable spending multiple days each week in the field meeting clients and generating new opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Organized, self-directed, and motivated by measurable sales results.
• Willing to work fully on-site. This position is not remote or hybrid.
• Salary expectations must align within the stated compensation range.

Compensation & Details

• Base Salary: $70,000–$75,000
• Quarterly Performance Bonus: Opportunity to earn up to approximately 70% of annual base salary, with current Sales Managers consistently achieving bonus targets.
• Overtime Eligible: Hours are tracked and compensated accordingly.
