Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health issues, identifying their specific needs and crafting tailored treatment plans.

• Implement individual and group therapy sessions using proven therapeutic modalities to address mental health conditions and promote emotional well-being.

• Regularly communicate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to report on patient progress, discuss treatment efficacy, and address any concerns or complications.

• Coordinate with clients’ families and support networks to facilitate holistic treatment and effective discharge planning when required.

• Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork to ensure consistent care delivery and develop comprehensive discharge strategies based on psychosocial assessments.

• Engage with community resources and providers to aid clients in accessing additional services, enhancing their overall support system.

• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals with varying mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role will involve collaborating with clients to facilitate their recovery journey, focusing not just on symptom alleviation but also on empowering them to achieve sustainable wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a mental health counselor in an outpatient setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills and a commitment to quality care.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, with strong computer skills encompassing word processing, email, and spreadsheets.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively, showcasing excellent self-direction and organizational abilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other recognized methodologies is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a robust benefits package including health, dental, life, and disability insurance.
