Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and establish therapeutic goals.

• Design and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific issues, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Facilitate regular one-on-one and group therapy sessions, fostering a space for individuals to openly discuss their challenges and progress.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress, treatment notes, and facilitate communication with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists when referrals are needed.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies effectively during emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a broad spectrum of clients who may be dealing with mental health disorders, emotional distress, or life transitions. This may include individuals with histories of trauma, substance use issues, and various psychological challenges. Your role will require cultural competence and sensitivity, focusing on inclusive treatment approaches that acknowledge and respect the individuality of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling with diverse patient populations.

• An advanced understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with a calm demeanor under pressure, and a commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
