Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM PST. Our team utilizes advanced telehealth technology to deliver services and maintain effective communication among staff and clients. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating closely with psychiatrists, clinical social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational dynamics, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Collaborate actively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to enhance client outcomes and ensure continuity of care.

• Document progress notes and treatment updates in electronic medical records (EMR) to maintain accurate client histories and outcomes.

• Stay current with best practices in the field through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care services and therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Breaking Cycles serves a diverse client base, including individuals of various age groups who are experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. Our focus is on providing sensitive and inclusive care to empower our clients to cope with their mental health difficulties effectively. As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients from different backgrounds, understanding their unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience providing counseling services to individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients quickly.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, which is advantageous for efficiently managing client information and documenting sessions.

• Experience leading both individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
