Work Environment\n

Operating fully remotely, our dedicated team is committed to delivering exceptional care while utilizing advanced telehealth technology. You will have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, primarily working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours as required by patient situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of the mental health needs of children and adolescents, employing standardized evaluation tools and clinical expertise.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider the young person’s developmental stage, family dynamics, and cultural background.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a spectrum of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at aiding parents and caregivers in nurturing supportive home environments.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention for young clients experiencing acute mental health episodes, ensuring timely and effective care.
\n
• Deliver educational programs for patients and families, providing them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available community resources.
\n
• Ensure meticulous documentation of treatment and patient progress, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and team cohesion.

• Stay abreast of current research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually improve care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents who face various mental health challenges. You will engage with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, ADHD, and a range of behavioral issues. Our clients often involve not just the individual, but also their families, making your role pivotal in fostering supportive environments that encourage effective healing and development.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
\n
• A minimum of two years post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders affecting youth, along with proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong skills in delivering both individual and family therapy to young populations.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, infused with empathy and child-centered practice.
\n
• Proven ability to establish rapport with clients and their families, fostering an atmosphere of trust and security.
\n
• Experience with electronic health record systems and a comfort level with digital communication platforms.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
