About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years in Emergency Department License: Registered Nurse Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS; TNCC and ENPC preferred Must-Have: Competency with Epic EMR is required. Description: The emergency department is a Level III Trauma Center. It has 38 beds, including 2 trauma bays. This emergency department is among the top 10 busiest in Ohio. Assignments are for 36 hours per week, working from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend is required, along with holiday rotation. Requests for excessive time off around the holidays will not be approved. Taking call is not expected and should be a rare request. Candidates must have completed at least 3 ED assignments or have 3 years of current or recent ED experience. BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are all required. TNCC and ENPC certifications are strongly preferred, but not required. It is mandatory to list Epic EMR experience in the submission. Failure to do so will result in candidate disqualification. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract. All requested time off must be disclosed upfront to be honored.
