Key Responsibilities Instructional Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, standards‑aligned math lessons (Common Core State Standards) that accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and positive classroom culture with clear expectations for student behavior and academic integrity. Assessment & Data Analysis: Design and administer formative and summative assessments. Analyze student data to differentiate instruction, address learning gaps, and track academic growth. Technology Integration: Utilize educational technology, graphing calculators, and digital learning platforms (e.g., Google Classroom, MathXL) to enhance instruction. Collaboration: Participate actively in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), departmental meetings, and district-wide professional development to align curriculum and share best practices. Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with students, parents, and guidance counselors regarding academic progress and behavioral expectations. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Secondary Education, or a related field from an accredited institution. Licensure: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a secondary (9-12) Mathematics endorsement.
