If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out.The OpportunityWe partner with manufacturers across Lansing seeking Master Schedulers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for all products.Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain to align forecasts with production capacity.Monitor inventory levels and adjust schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock.Utilize ERP/MRP systems to optimize scheduling and material planning.Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and material shortages.Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements to scheduling processes.Participate in S&OP meetings, providing insights on production capacity and scheduling capabilities.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Proven expertise with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory management principles.APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.Bonus QualificationsAdditional certifications or trainingJob Titles That Should ApplyProduction Scheduler, Master Production Scheduler, Supply Chain Planner, Demand Planner, Inventory Planner, Materials Planner, Operations Scheduler, Production Planner, Senior Scheduler, Supply Chain SchedulerWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
