Recruiter (contract)

Overview Responsible for managing the end-to-end hiring process while ensuring superior candidate experience. Responsibilities Advising and consulting the business on the right fit; oversee sourcing, screening, and interview processes to acquire the best talent to meet business needs. Function as a talent champion that can energetically promote the role and the company brand to candidates. Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes, guiding candidates and business representatives through the process to ensure a positive experience. Partner with human resources business partners and talent acquisition program managers. Serve as a single point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process. Consult hiring managers on talent needs and recommend candidate slates. Develop sourcing strategies in conjunction with the hiring manager and Sourcing Center. Direct Sourcers in conducting sourcing and resume screening processes. Direct coordinators in supporting a seamless candidate process. Conduct phone screens for candidates. Work with the talent acquisition support team to enable interview capability for hiring managers. Aggregate evaluation feedback for final hiring decisions; negotiate and close offers and communicate decisions with candidates. Effectively utilize available technologies to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity. Qualifications Requires a BA degree in an HR-related field and/or marketing or communications field and a minimum of 3 years of talent acquisition experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates is required. Ability to engage candidates persuasively and partner with, advise, and influence hiring managers in a consultative manner. Experience with both corporate (in-house) and third-party recruiting is strongly preferred; in-depth knowledge of the TA landscape in the health insurance industry is strongly preferred. Masters degree and Professional HR/TA Certifications are strongly preferred. Additional Information At this time this is strictly a contract opportunity. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or a 1-hour commute each way of a relevant Elevance Health location. Experience with Workday HRIS is strongly preferred. Hours and Schedule Hours: 8-5 EST. This is a Hybrid position with 1-2 days per week in the office. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, Eastern Time, with possible start/end time adjustments. Possible start times include 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9:00 AM with corresponding end times and lunch adjustments. The schedule may be adjusted based on lunchtime.
