Key Responsibilities Prepare and stage equipment and tooling according to production schedules. Perform mechanical and electrical adjustments to machinery for optimal performance. Verify proper setup and functionality through test runs and quality checks. Troubleshoot and resolve minor setup-related issues to minimize downtime. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Document setup parameters and equipment status for record-keeping. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years experience in a manufacturing or production environment Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) Bonus Qualifications Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing and interpreting designs. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. IPC certification (e.g., IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) for soldering and electronics assembly. Prior experience with preventative maintenance (PM) scheduling and execution.
