Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Global HR Systems Functional Lead to support a large-scale international Workday implementation . This role will serve as the primary business process and requirements lead, partnering with HR, Payroll, Talent, Technology, and regional stakeholders across Europe, APAC, and North America . Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering workshops with global HR, Payroll, Talent, Recruiting, and business stakeholders. Analyze current-state HR processes and identify country-specific business and regulatory requirements. Translate business needs into clear, configuration-ready functional requirements for Workday implementation teams. Create and maintain business requirements documents, process flows, user stories, decision logs, traceability matrices, and country-specific documentation. Coordinate with Workday functional consultants, integration teams, QA, and project stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle. Support testing activities, including UAT planning, test scenarios, defect triage, and deployment readiness. Track risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams. Required Qualifications 7+ years of Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, or HR Systems implementation experience. Proven experience facilitating requirements workshops with global stakeholders. Strong background in translating business processes into functional system requirements. Experience supporting HR, Talent, Recruiting, Payroll, or Workforce Management initiatives. Excellent documentation, stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Workday implementations or HR transformation programs. Knowledge of Workday modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent, Compensation, Payroll, Time & Absence, and Learning. Experience working with multi-country HR processes across Europe and APAC.
