Accounting Clerk

This role assists the Controller with financial preparation, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and in a variety of other areas. We seek a qualified candidate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven. Responsibilities: Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable Assist the Controller with Proforma preparation as needed Ensure the Company is in compliance with all state DOR, SOS, and payroll tax rules and regulations with assistance from the Controller Providing support and information to external accounting team Assist the Controller with auction product payments process Maintain and update accounting and HR related processes in Company knowledgebase Provide administrative support, including processing expense reports, organizing office supplies, and maintaining essential stock Requirements: Associate degree in accounting or finance, or 2+ years of accounting and/or finance experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain relevant financial changes to the Controller and upper management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools Intermediate knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) Excellent organizational skills to maintain multiple tasks and meet deadlines Benefits: Competitive Salary Blue Cross & Blue Shield Health Insurance Guardian Dental Insurance Long-Term Disability Insurance Optional Vision Insurance 401(k) Discretionary Matching Plan Generous Paid Time Off, Sick Days, & Company Holidays Voluntary Benefits: Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance (Whole or Term), Accident Insurance, Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Cancer Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance
