Associate Immigration Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an admitted attorney for an Associate Immigration Attorney position in Phoenix, AZ. Duties Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions. Represent individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. Manage a workload of diverse cases. Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers. Prepare immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions. Review and adjust immigration application packets. Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes. Meet with potential clients for strategic consultations. Develop strategies and prepare clients for court/USCIS testimony. Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in immigration law. Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Proven ability to manage a caseload effectively. Experience with family-based petitions, humanitarian cases, and other USCIS applications. Familiarity with case management software preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law. Skills Strong legal analysis and strategic planning abilities. Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
