Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires onsite work within our rehabilitation facility. Here, you will collaborate closely with a small team of professionals, including two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), ensuring a supportive and innovative work atmosphere. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapy equipment and technology, including specialized modalities for musculoskeletal rehabilitation, promoting not only effective treatments but also enhancing the healing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine specific goals, needs, and functional limitations.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and focused treatment.
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities and evidence-based practices.
• Apply advanced manual therapy techniques to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, and overall physical function.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Encourage open communication with patients to motivate and support them throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and remain current on latest therapy methodologies and industry trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Balanced Bodies Wellness Center, we cater primarily to adults recovering from orthopedic conditions including post-operative surgical recovery, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, free from board disciplinary actions.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques essential for effective treatment.
• Strong ability to develop and implement individualized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, to document patient care and track outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly beneficial.
• Background in working collaboratively within a rehabilitation team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-focused mindset to foster relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
