Job Purpose

The Industrial Technician is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of a wide range of hand tools used in our industrial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with hand tools, and a commitment to safety and quality.

What You Will Do

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all maintenance and repair activities. Collaborate with other technicians and departments to support overall equipment reliability and workplace safety. Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of hand tools (manual and power tools) to ensure optimal performance and safety. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hand tools, identifying root causes of malfunctions or failures. Calibrate hand tools according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards to ensure accuracy and reliability. Document all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed, maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies. Communicate with manager regarding service priorities and status. Assist with loading and unloading of products in the warehouse, on trailers or vehicles. Deploy to manage onsite tool projects as needed. Duration of duty varies by project. Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use and care of hand tools Operate equipment such as a forklift, parts picker, or motor vehicle.

Requirements

2 years of industrial technician experience A valid driver's license HS Diploma or equivalent Skills Able to work standing for long periods Attention to detail and sense of urgency Multi-tasking individual who uses project management skills to accomplish goals Must react to changing business needs Works and communicates effectively with all levels of the company Computer skills to support entering information into systems

Pay Range

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
