This opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week with a convenient day shift schedule, and offers full benefits. Need to be experienced in Vascular and Ortho Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. Qualifications Surgical Tech Job Requirements: Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent Surgical Technician certification is required Six months of operating room experience Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Role and Responsibilities The surgical technician functions as a cooperative team member in the Surgical Services department by demonstrating the ability to provide constant technical assistance to the surgeon within his or her scope of practice. The surgical technician follows the current professional practice standards, rules and regulations set forth by AORN and AST. The surgical technician must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the institution.
