Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Operating Room (OR) - Fulltime

This is a Fulltime opportunity at 40 hours a week with a convenient day shift schedule, On-Call is required. Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. It is a 235-bed, acute care hospital, owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., a highly respected healthcare management organization. The certified surgical technician functions as a cooperative team member in the Surgical Services department by demonstrating the ability to provide constant technical assistance to the surgeon within his or her scope of practice. The surgical technician follows the current professional practice standards, rules and regulations set forth by AORN and AST. The surgical technician must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the institution.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent
• Surgical Technician certification is required
• Six months of operating room experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
