Contract Administrator

Contracts Administrator / Junior Contracts Manager (Temp-to-Hire) LHH is partnering with a private, mission-driven organization in the higher education space seeking a Contracts Administrator / Junior Contracts Manager to support contract operations and risk coordination during a period of growth and transition. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right person. The role is ideal for someone who can step in, organize contract workflows, and confidently review agreements with limited oversight. What You’ll Do: Manage the contract intake and review process across vendor, affiliation, purchasing, SaaS, and revenue agreements Identify risk areas in contracts and coordinate with leadership and external counsel as needed Support risk management processes, including certificates of insurance tracking Organize and streamline contract documentation and templates Assist with implementation of a contract management system (Agiloft) Provide general legal/administrative support during contract review cycles What You Bring: Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts (legal, procurement, or business side) Background as a Contracts Administrator, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal training Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with Excel and document management tools (Box, CMS platforms, etc.) Exposure to contract lifecycle management tools like Agiloft is a plus (not required) Preferred (Not Required): Experience outside of a traditional law firm environment Background supporting higher education, nonprofit, or regulated environments Paralegal certificate, bachelor’s degree, or JD (JD not required) Work Environment & Schedule: Location: Forest Grove, OR (Hybrid) Pay: $34–$37/hour Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hybrid schedule: onsite training initially, then up to 3 remote days/week Professional, business casual environment Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
