As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established hospital protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and adherence to site-specific access procedures. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
