Job Description
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Continuas, you will be a foundational member of our early sales team, partnering directly with the CEO to identify and engage prospects mainly within staffing and recruiting firms. Your role is to initiate meaningful conversations, understand prospect follow-up challenges, and schedule qualified demo meetings. This position emphasizes curiosity, listening skills, and follow-through over prior platform knowledge and offers a clear path to an Account Executive role.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to owners, sales, recruiting, and operations leaders daily
- Conduct brief discovery conversations to assess follow-up challenges
- Qualify prospects and schedule product demos live during calls
- Record clear, comprehensive CRM notes after every interaction using HubSpot
- Address common objections honestly without overpromising product capabilities
- Send concise follow-up emails supporting your calls
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in sales development
- Proficiency in cold calling and lead qualification
- Effective objection handling skills
- Strong active listening abilities
- Good time management and organizational skills
