Lecturer (Part Time Teaching) Fall 2026

Posting Summary The Mathematics Department seeks Part‑Time Lecturers for the New Brunswick/Piscataway Campus for Fall 2026. Positions are primarily for course lecturers or recitation instructors for Basic Skills (Elementary Algebra, Mathematics or Liberal Arts), Precalculus, and Calculus I and II. Faculty will teach face‑to‑face as well as online and must be available to teach between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Responsibilities Deliver instructional courses in the specified subjects. Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessment tools. Provide timely feedback and grades to students. Maintain an inclusive learning environment and support student success. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development as required. Salary & Benefits Salary: A minimum of $2 777 per credit. Final compensation may be adjusted based on qualifications, experience, grant funds, and market benchmarks.
