Field Applications Engineer

Collaborating closely with key customers, the full-time Field Applications Engineer will leverage their technical knowledge of semiconductor design to advise on simulation efforts, troubleshoot challenges, and implement solutions while supporting sales strategies. Key responsibilities Advise customers on simulation efforts and address technical obstacles to enhance their workflow Provide training and collaborate with customers to troubleshoot problems and propose tailored solutions Draft technical collateral and contribute to sales plans to ensure accurate representation of Silvaco's offerings Required qualifications Master's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Solid State Physics, or a related field 0-3 years of industry experience in semiconductor manufacturing, R&D, or integrated circuit design processes Experience with design, modeling, and/or simulation tools through academic coursework or industry work Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and creative problem-solving skills Ability to manage complex projects with minimal oversight and deliver on time
