Project Manager I (Anaheim, CA)

Position Summary The Project Manager I plays a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and supporting the delivery of various projects and implementations within the organization. Working closely with management, experienced team members, internal and external stakeholders, product owners and clients, the Project Manager assists in gathering business requirements, determining scope, allocating resources, and ensuring successful implementation of WRG products or services. Essential Position Functions Perform key tasks in conversion, migrations, disaster recovery, third‑party vendor changes, and new WRG client implementations. Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing migration, conversion, disaster recovery setup/testing, and WRG software implementation activities. Participate in and support all project phases: initiate, plan, execute, control, and close. Oversee day‑to‑day project aspects—scope, schedule, quality, resources. Track project interdependencies, milestones, and deliverables; communicate risks to stakeholders, management, and PMO timely. Collaborate with management, senior project managers, internal departments, clients, and vendors to understand business and user needs; document requirements. Design goals, success metrics, and measurements in partnership with stakeholders or owners. Ensure that support resources are allocated early for effective resource planning. Verify testing of new processes, vendor connections, and WRG implementations through established quality control processes. Coordinate with other project managers and teams to achieve shared goals and provide cross‑divisional support. Conduct research, analyze data, set up meetings, track and report project progress, and perform other duties assigned by the Senior Project Manager. Prepare project documentation—processes, products, procedures, third‑party vendors, enhancements, best practices. Communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the credit union, clients, and vendors; routinely update the PMO. Facilitate collaboration among project team members and conduct post‑project evaluations to identify lessons learned and recommend process improvements. Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities High school graduate; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Previous financial industry, operations, and customer service experience preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent multitasking, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision; detail‑oriented. Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Office365, and Teams. Proficiency in credit‑union operating system and specialized performance software. Mathematical Skills Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Compute rates, ratios, and percentages. Physical Demands The employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling or feeling, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, or smell. Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Work Environment Hybrid or remote position with a home base at a Wescom office. Noise level moderately quiet; non‑smoking. Remote or hybrid status may be discontinued by Wescom at any time.
