The Compliance Coordinator will play a key role in overseeing FYAR’s compliance efforts, ensuring the organization meets nonprofit regulations, grant obligations, and internal governance standards. This role is well-suited for someone with prior nonprofit, legal, or administrative experience who can work independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor nonprofit compliance requirements (state, federal, and funder-related)
• Maintain and update organizational policies and compliance documentation
• Track grant compliance, reporting deadlines, and required documentation
• Coordinate with leadership and relevant teams to address compliance needs
• Support audit preparation and internal reviews
• Guide and support the Compliance Assistant as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit administration, compliance, legal, or governance roles
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
• Familiarity with nonprofit regulations and grant compliance is strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and document management systems
